Pistachio
A white and dark chocolate shell filled with white chocolate roasted pistachio gianduja.
Pistachios have been valued since the beginning of time. They're mentioned in Genesis 43:11 as being one of the "best products of the land." I would have to agree. Once considered food for royals, the pistachio is known as "a smiling" nut because of the shape of its cracked shell. Pistachios provide excellent nutrition as they are high in protein, fiber, magnesium, thiamine, phosphorus, and are an excellent source of vitamin B6, antioxidants, and manganese. I remember sitting as a child with my father and Uncle shelling and eating pistachios. I still love them to this day and have crafted this bonbon to encourage memories of sharing smiles and snacks with family.
