Midnight Dark Chocolate

A dark chocolate shell with a Valrhona dark chocolate ganache center.

I grew up in the high dessert where the closest neighboring town was a 2 hour drive away. It was isolated and because of this, artificial lights at night were very minimal and the stars…the stars were AMAZING!  Stars were sprinkled in the sky like sand on the way down to the beach. I could lie on my back and look at the stars for hours.  If I looked long enough, I couldn’t find a spot in the sky without a star.  I haven’t seen stars like this anywhere else in the world (yet).  With only the highest quality chocolate and cream, this bon-bon is simple yet incredibly rich, just like our universe.
