Irish Cream
A dark chocolate shell with a dark chocolate Irish Cream ganache.
My dad came to visit me a few weeks ago. We had a day with nothing planned and I suggested we make chocolates. I asked him what his favorite flavor was and he said “Well, I really like them all but I think the Irish Cream is my favorite today.” So, we made Irish cream bon-bons together. He was my taste tester while making the ganache filling helping me find just the right dose of flavor. The key to making Irish cream bon-bons is to make the Irish cream from scratch using high quality chocolate, cream, sweetened condensed milk and of course high-quality whiskey. We had a great afternoon together, sharing moments while tempering, painting, and filling chocolates, and came out with some delicious treats. This recipe is the one we developed together. We would encourage you to share your stories and spend time together creating something new.
