Midnight Forest
A dark chocolate shell with a Valrhona dark chocolate ganache center.
This dark chocolate bonbon was designed specifically for my cousin and her wedding. She spent much of her life in the forest of Mount Ranier national park with her grandfather, family and friends. Coming down the mountain in the dark, surrounded by trees, with ortadox cathedral music playing, there is no more profound connection to nature and creation. Feeling simultaneously on top of the world and the smallest soul in the universe.
With more than 8 billion people on the earth with us today and an estimated 117 billion people throughout our history...we are just specks in our miraculous, complex, fantastic universe. Yet we are more than these numbers. We are our connection to others. We are family, friends, support, trials, hopes...love.
